You first need to submit your site to The Real Estate Web Ring
by clicking on the Submit your Site button at the bottom of this
page. A new browser window will open to allow you to start the
online application process.
Please note that the password you choose allows you to edit your
site information. Don't forget it! If you have any problems, email
the Real Estate Ring Manager.
If you do not have a WebRing USER ID you will be prompted to create
one before the system will allow you to proceed with the join
process.
If you already have a WebRing USER ID you may be prompted
to log in to the system to proceed with the join process.
1. Fill in the required information to submit your site
(URL, Title of your site and Description of your site) and select
next. You will now have a chance to review the information that
you entered. If everything is ok then click on the Submit button.
2. You should now receive an email that containes your
site information, your site id in the Real Estate Ring and a link
to edit your site information as well as retreive the HTML code
that you will place on your web site.
3. Click on the link contained in the email. Located on
the left hand side of your edit screen you will click on the link
that says Get Navigation Code.
4. You should now see a copy of what your Navigation Bar
looks like and the HTML code that you will add to your web site.
Simply cut and paste your unique HTML code in your web site.
That it! Your Done.
The ringmaster will "visit" your site to confirm that it is a
Real Estate related site, and that you have added the appropriate
HTML. At that point, you will be moved from the queue to an "Active
Member in The Real Estate Ring. You will receive another e-mail
confirming your addition.
Note: If The Real Estate Ring HTML code
aren't activated on your site within 60 days of being added to
the queue, it will automatically be removed, and you'll receive
an e-mail indicating this. At this point you will need to re-submit
the form in order to be acitvated. This is neccesary to ensure
that all sites added to the ring are functional, and none of your
visitors get sent to a page that does not yet have an active link
to the ring (this causes them to hit a "dead-end", and be unable
to navigate any further within the ring).
Also, please be aware that if your site contains potentially offensive
material, you will not be added to the ring. It is not our intention
to censor or otherwise decide for you what is and isn't appropriate
on a web page, however to be fair to ALL members, the rule will
be: If in doubt, we will play it safe.
Any sites rejected for this, or any other reason, will be notified
by e-mail as to exactly why they were not accepted. The site will
remain in the queue for the sixty day period, and if the reason(s)
is remedied, it will be added.
When The Real Estate Ring HTML code is placed on your site prior
to being activated you will probably see just a grey bar with
thw Web Ring logo on the left hand side. Don't panic it is suposed
to look like this until your site becomes active.
When The Real Estate Ring HTML code is placed on your site and
has been activated by the ring master it will look like this:
